Preparing the Spell
Begin by clearing your mind. Sit quietly before the unlit candle and take several slow breaths.
If you wish, use the Grounding Meditation Technique before beginning. Allow distracting thoughts to fade until your attention rests entirely upon your voice and the purpose of the spell.
Pour the spring water into the bowl and place it before the candle.
Anoint the candle with a small amount of red oil. Begin at the middle of the candle and move upward toward the wick. Return to the middle and anoint downward toward its base.
As you do this, imagine the candle filling with warm, crimson light.
Casting the Beautiful Voice Spell
Light the incense and watch its smoke rise. Imagine that every breath you take draws a trace of its enchantment into your throat and chest.
Light the candle.
Hold both hands around the bowl of water without touching it. Look into the water and picture its surface glowing with silver light.
Speak the following words slowly:

Now lift the bowl and take three small sips of the enchanted water.
After the first sip, imagine your throat surrounded by silver light.
After the second, imagine your voice becoming steady and confident.
After the third, picture your words flowing effortlessly and reaching everyone who hears them.
Place the bowl down and spend a few moments humming softly. Let the sound vibrate through your chest and throat. Do not judge the note or try to control it. Simply allow your newly enchanted voice to emerge.
Sealing the Enchantment
Hold your hands near the candle and say:
The breath is mine, the voice is free.
As I have spoken, so shall it be.
Allow the final words to fade into silence.
Use the remaining water to touch your throat, lips and the center of your chest. The spell is now sealed.
Whenever you need to awaken its influence, close your eyes, take a slow breath and silently repeat:
My voice is clear. My words have power.
